There are two types of BHT (body hair transplants) performed by Dr. Epstein. The first is using hairs from the chest, beard, and or back to transplant into the scalp to create greater density. The second is to transplant scalp hairs into areas of the body such as the chest, pubic region, and or armpits to create greater density.

Body Hair Transplant
Before and after 150 grafts per axilla/armpit region
Before and after one procedure of 2,400 grafts to the chest.
Before and after 500 grafts total to armpits/axilla region. This male patient desired more body hair.
Before and after one procedure of 1,900 grafts to the chest.
Before and after one procedure of 2,200 grafts to the chest.
Before and after 2,600 grafts to the chest.
Before and after 6 months 800 grafts to female pubic area. Patient in her late 30s desired more pubic hair after undergoing laser hair removal that she subsequently regretted. A total of 800 grafts were transplanted to restore a fuller pubic hair area.

After 900 grafts to chest and 100 grafts to each armpit area.
